First there was yesterday’s post about the toilet tissue (or “Little Liu Loo Roll,” as it will now forevermore be known) and then today I saw this headline on Yahoo news: White House wants visitor logs to remain unseen, which caused me to think: “Damn, they should update the plumbing.”
Aren’t I a little too old for this kind of humor?

Well, judging by the comments, looks like none of us are.

Oh sweet buddha on a pogo stick! I haven’t visited for a while and the first thing I encounter is this. I wasn’t expecting this hence the coffee out the nose and half chewed bagel on the keyboard. Thank you for morning guffaw. (fortunately, I was planning on replacing this keyboard anyway)

1)The Nixon White House had the “plumbers.”

2) Thinking about the “plunger” that would be necessary for this White House, only King Kong would have the brawn to operate it, and it would be a tough go for him.

Okay…I have some sort of a joke swirling around in my head about the White House and Lincoln Logs…but it won’t quite come together. Mean while, I can’t WIPE the smile off my face…(sorry, you may smack me now).

Reminds me of the joke:
What’s brown and floats in the toilet of the SS Enterprise.
The captain’s log.

You’re never too old!
(Why is poopy talk so funny?)

I’m glad you were all so kindly willing to indulge my regression.

“Number 2″ is a big topic of discussion here, (see my comment on the Little Liu Loo Roll post).
I had a colleague that referred to his “captain logs” in terms of snakes. “Man! The bowl was full of asps!”
You’re never too old for toilet humor, you just feel more guilty about it.

Why didn’t I read this before!!!
I laughed my head off!!!
And no, you are never too old, quite the contrary, I think it gets better with age… the logs, the jokes, whatever comes to mind…

The popularity of Brit-coms proves we’re never to old for toilet humor.
